Download LAS^TM

You will be asked if you want to "Open", "Save" or "Save As".

(Your browser may use different terms for these options, such as "Run" and "Save File". Some browsers won't give you the option to "Run". )

Choose "Save".

You may then have to wait a few minutes as the installation program downloads to your Hard Disk before the file can be run.

When you are asked for your "Registration Key," enter the license registration key you were given when you bought LAS, or leave it blank.

( If you leave the registration key blank during installation, LAS will install in "Demo" mode.
You will be able to enter your license registration key from within LAS to unlock its full functionality. )

Your license registration key looks something like this: LX5T-PYKJ-4CA5-ZU73

If you are upgrading, LAS tries to automatically retrieve your old data.

If LAS does not find your data, you may have to use "Restore" to import your old data.

Just follow these steps:

• After LAS is installed and running, select [ File --> Utilities --> Backup/Restore --> Find My Data ] from the main menu.
  LAS will search your computer, and offer to restore the data from any older LAS data folders that it finds.
• In some cases, LAS will not automatically find your old data folder.
  Then, you would have to select [ File --> Utilities --> Backup/Restore --> Restore ] from the LAS main menu, and then manually navigate to your old data folder.
• Alternatively, you can restore your data from backup disks, or a backup ZIP file created by the old version of LAS.
  Compressed LAS backup files are named like L_yymmdd.ZIP, where yy, mm and dd are the year, month and day when the backup was created.
